Pimply Days

Pimples, the scourge of mother nature, sent to bubble up angrily as a sign of all things bad. And no matter how I try to fight them, they rise from their comodones right before there are events to attend. I have to attend three marriages in the next one week and accordingly they have risen in drones.
It is time now for some remedial action and i turn to...hmmm.. well nothing actually. Nothing really seems to work on this sickos, frankly. I have tried multani mitti paste, Himalaya Acne & Pimple cream, Himalaya Neem face pack, Clean and Clear, Clearasil, Safi, Apricot / Walnut Scrub.. Blah, blah, blah.. Nada, nothing works. Nothing gets rid of the pimple, whiteheads or blackheads. The only solution is a trip to the parlour and shelling out 200 peas for a clean-up. Which as is obvious, is not sensible all the time.
The only solution seems to be then, prevention. Which is Garnier Pimple Control Pen, or something similar. No don't go by the advert, it does not make your pimple go away. Nope sweeties, just like dunking water on your head ain't gonna turn you blond from black hair, this gel too does nothing of the sort to pimples. It just freezes them, time stands still around your pimples. No, your skin won't go back in time and the pimple won't go away, but the pimple won't get worse (well, that is subjective depending on what stage pimple is in) as well. A minor red bump in its infancy will stay there forever like a minor red bump. A full grown pus-filled pimple will also keep bubbling again and again like ol' ye' faithful. And no, u don't have to do just for a day.. no Miss, if that were true how would Garnier ever make money? You have to apply it, day in and day out, all week, all month, twice a day for the clock to freeze on the pimples.
It is good when you are just bidding your time, earning your bucks so you can go to the parlour for a clean-up. It won't let them grow, but it ain't gonna make them disappear too.. at close to 80 bucks for 10 ml, it does not deliver completely.. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Sigh..
